一、材料分析
本节课通过Wang Wei, Michael, Jane,Maria, Kangkang之间的对话，引出谈论动植物的话题。在这部分学习中，通过图片对比的方式,可以培养学生爱护动植物，保护人类家园的意识。也通过谈论动物、植物更喜欢哪种的表述的句子，继续学习形容词比较级和最高级的构成和用法。形容词比较级和最高级是本话题的重点也是难点，同学们能在竞赛、小组合作中快乐地掌握它。
二、学习目标：
1.掌握本节课的新单词：rose,frog,insect,fox 2.学习询问偏好及回答的句型、询问原因及回答的句型。(1)Which do you like better,plants or animals ?_ I like animals better.(2)-Why do you think so ?-Because animals are our friends.3.复习形容词的比较级和最高级。
4.培养学生热爱动植物及大自然的思想感情。
三、重点、难点
重点：
1.复习比较级和最高级的用法。
2.从重音、停顿等方面培养自己的口语。
难点： 1.比较级和最高级在句子当中的正确使用。
2.根据音标写单词的时候容易漏掉不发音的字母。
四、教学方法：
利用多媒体课件辅助教学、情景教学法等。
五、学习过程： Step 1 Revision
1.Greetings 2.Comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives.让学生根据上节课学习的形容词的比较级和最高级造句子,巩固形容词的比较级和最高级的用法。
