一、教学目标：
知识目标：1.掌握形容词比较级的变化规则.2.掌握形容词比较级的句型及用法。
3.掌握如何比较身边的事物并选择最佳答案。
能力目标：能应用形容词比较级对身边人物和事物做出对比。情感目标：注重培养学生的生活运用能力。
二、教学重点：掌握形容词的比较级。
教学难点：比较级的归纳和在情景中的综合应用。
三、教 法：以任务型教学法为主，情景交际法等为辅。

五、教 具：多媒体，卡片，实物
六、教学步骤：
Step1 Warm up 1.Greetings 2.Let’s have a chant.Step2 Presentation and drills 1.Leading—in（课件出示刘翔和姚明的照片）
T: Do you know the two men? Who are they? S：Yes.They are Liu Xiang and Yao Ming.T:Very good.Can you describe them? S:Liu Xiang is tall.T:Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang.Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming.引出形容词的比较级。2.Sum up the rules.形容词加er的规则：
①一般的直接在词尾加er，如tallstronger , ②以e结尾的，直接加r，如finefunnier ④以结尾，双写最后的字母再加er，如big--bigger, thin--thinner ,hot–-hotter，sad--sadder，⑤另外多音节词，在多音节词前加more
如：beautiful--more beautiful expensive--more expensive 除此之外，还有特殊的单词，它的比较级不规则。如：
good/well（原形）-better（比较级）bad /ill（原形）-worse（比较级）many / much（原形）-more（比较级）little / few（原形-le（比较级）
far
（原形）--further/farther Old（原形）---older/elder（比较级）3.Recite 我们知道了比较级的变化规则。请熟记比较级变化口诀 两者之间做比较，尾巴er少不了。一般词尾加er,有e词尾只加r.单一辅音单音节，双写词尾加er.辅音加y很重要，改y为i加er.双多音节字太长，前加more比它强。
不规则变化要记好，两个好、两个坏、两个多、两个少、一个遥远、一个年老。4.drills 一般句式的构成： A + is / are+ 形容词比较级+ than + B A 是主格 B 是宾格
如： She is taller than me.主格 形容词比较级 宾格
