一、教学内容分析 Unit 8 Dialogue
二、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.能听、说、读、写“四会”掌握单词:outside, bring,CD, VCD, problem 2.能听、说、读“三会”掌握单词:invite, picnic 3.句型
Would you like to come? 及应答I’d love to No, thanks.Shall I bring some food? Can I bring a friend? 4.日常用语:No problem..(二)语言技能目标
1.流利地朗读并理解对话。
2.能根据提示或看图复述对话、表演对话。3.学会有礼貌地邀请别人做事情及如何应答。
(三)学习策略目标
1.通过运用录像、电脑软件、游戏、歌曲、小组活动等呈现课文并操练,使学生积极运用所学的知识进行表达和交流,发挥小组协作和自主学习的积极性。
2.以旧引新,通过以前所学的知识,引出新知识,并在真实情景中充分操练,如:Would you like to come? 及应答I’d love to No, thanks.Shall I bring some food? Can I bring a friend?等等。学生在实际中操练和运用本课的句型。
(四)情感态度目标
1.通过学习对话,树立礼貌意识。2.提高英语学习兴趣。
3.学会积极主动地与他人合作。
(五)文化意识目标 通过对邀请用语的学习,了解西方国家的一些礼貌用语。
三、教学重点
本课邀请用语的理解、记忆和运用。
四、教学难点
1.单词outside, bring,problem的正确发音及拼写。2.接受或拒绝别人的邀请的表达方式。
3.Would you like to…? Do you want to…? Shall we…?的各种接受和拒绝的回答。
五、教学策略
创设情景、借助实物、图片、多媒体等呈现新知识,引导学生大胆开口说英语。
六、教学过程
(一)热身与准备
1.唱歌曲:Dance, Little Children 2.Chant:课本P32 3.TPR活动
复习动词词组,如go to the cinema, go shopping, go boating, go sightseeing, go swimming, come to a party, come to tea, play football, see the film, watch TV, go shopping, play computer games等等。
4.教师引导学生小结所学的一些邀请用语及回答,并板书出来。如:(1)Would you like to…? Yes, I’d love to.That’s great.(2)Do you want to…?Yes, I do.I’m sorry.I can’t.I have to…(3)Shall we…? OK.All right.(4)Let’s ﹍ All right.OK.Let’s.(二)呈现与操练
1.教师创设情景,让学生初步感知课文内容并学习新单词picnic, outside, invite:
T: My birthday is coming.Please gue: What would I like to do ? Use “Would you like to…
Do you want to …?”学生猜完后,教师继续说,T: I’d like to have a party.I will invite a lot of people.But my house is too small for many people.So I am going to have a picnic outside.I think it would be great!Who will you invite to my party?
学生通过回答教师的问题,学习新单词picnic, outside, invite,并能用I’d like to invite… or I will invite … 表达自己想邀请的人。2.学生通过事物学习CD和VCD T: Look , these are CDs and those are VCDs..Would you like to come and listen to my CDs and watch my VCDs? 4.创设情景,学习No problem.和No, thanks.T: I need some things for my party? What will you bring? Use “ Shall I bring a /some …? 教师用“No problem.No, thanks.” 回答,并板书。5.呈现课文CIA,让学生理解课文并回答问题。(1)When is Janet’s birthday?
(2)How is Janet going to celebrate her birthday?(3)Who will Janet invite?(4)Where will Janet have the party?(5)Should Janet’s friends bring some food to the party?(6)Who will Ben bring to Janet’s birthday party?
(三)巩固与拓展 1.跟读课文录音。
2.齐读、自渎、小组分角色读对话。
3.把课文分成四部分,每个小组表演或复述一部分,小组评比。4.根据对话内容,填写短文:
It’s Janet’s birthday next______.She wants to have a party.She is going to ______ all her ______, all the pupils in her cla and her ______.But her house is too ______ for so many people.So she is going to have a ______outside.Her ______ will make all the food for the party and Janet is going to help her.The party starts at ______ o’clock in the afternoon.Janet’s friend Sally is going to _____ some Coke.Janet also invites her brother Ben.He will bring his friend Belly, ______ to the party.5.尝试给课文续编结尾。教师可引导学生思考: How does Ben invite Billy, the alien, to Janet’s party?

(四)小结
1.小结今天学习的新单词和短语。
2.总结本单元所学的各种邀请用语及其接受与拒绝的应答。
(五)布置作业
1.抄背默Unit 7的生词和重点句子。
2.听录音熟读Unit 8,背诵重点段,有能力的同学整篇课文背诵或表演。
3.(选做)为课文续写一个结尾。
七、教学反思
尝试给课文续编结尾,可以给与学生思考与运用语言的空间,并进一步理解课文,巩固所学的知识,提高综合运用语言的能力,同时也可激发学生学习的兴趣,教师还可结合课文内容进行思想情感教学,如:有没有必要开这么大型的生日会?怎样过生日才真正有意义等。
