学习目标： 1）知识与技能：

本节课是学习Join In小学三年级英语上册第五单元School things的第一课时，主要内容是听、说、认读有关学习物品的单词和询问、描述物品的对话。
1、教学目标
知识目标：（1）学习掌握单词 pen、pencil、schoolbag、book、bike、ruler、eraser等。

（过生日，对学生并不陌生，但对中西方过生日文化的差异，学生了解不多，学生仅仅学过简单的问候用语，数字，颜色表达等等，所以本单元的学习对学生有一定的难度，针对三年级活泼好动的特点，所以我设计了丰富多彩的课堂情境，以达到学生乐于模仿，敢于表达，主动获取知识的学习动机与能力）
情景渲染，导入课题：
1、观看活动一动画，三个英国小朋友过生日的情境，引导学生学习Happy birthday这个目标语句。
师：今天还有三个小朋友要过生日了，我们一起来看看吧！look！Who are they?让我们一起来认识他们一下吧!播放activity1（让学生在活动中感知体验，知道在过生日时要表达生日祝福，要赠送礼物，自然地导入课题）
2、今天是Jim Tim Kim 的生日，Amy 给他们送贺卡来了。我们听一听Amy送贺卡时是怎么说的？（听一听，读一读）
为什么三个小朋友拿着同一张贺卡？

看哪一组模仿得最棒？教师用点读笔带领学生读。在跟读过程中注意模仿录音的语音语调。然后根据学生的实际水平适当地讲解。
