Step 1 Warming up 1.Free talk T: Do you know any western festivals?
Conduct students to say “Christmas Day, Easter, ……” Step 2 Presentation 1.Show some pictures about western people celebrating the festivals, let children gue what festival is it.2.let students talk about what they have known about the festivals.3.Teach the origin of the festivals, some symbols, and celebrations.4.Listen to some songs which will be sang in these festivals.Step 3 Practice 1.Learn the song “Jingle Bells” 2.Let’s sing the song together.Step 4 Consolidation 1.Summarize what we have learned today.2.Search the information of the Thanksgiving Day and Halloween.
