Fashion show 泰兴市姚王初级中学 任祥元
一、说教材
牛津初中英语7A共六个单元。今天我要说的是Unit6 Reading。本单元核心话题是谈论时装。本课讲述了七(1)班的学生举办一场时装秀的情况。同学们开时装秀的目的是为希望工程筹款,通过本课的学习培养学生为社会奉献的精神。在授课的过程中我将依据新课程标准,引导学生学会思考、学会学习,培养他们学习的自主意识和创新意识。
二、说学情
学生们经过上学期的英语学习已经掌握了一定的英语基础知识,具备了一定的听、说、读、写的能力,通过本课的学习要进一步提高学生运用英语的能力。本单元学生已经学习了cotton,feather,silk,wool 等关于服装原材料的单词和相关句型,并对表示服装的单词已经比较熟悉。这一课同学们欣赏这场时装秀,论论这场时装秀并学习重要短语、句型及语法,为今后的学习打下坚实的基础。
三、说目标 1.知识与技能
(1)能够通过听录音捕捉重要信息,回答一些问题。(2)能够根据图片自由会话。
(3)能够运用多种方法阅读课文,解决一些问题。(4)能够掌握重点词组和句型。(5)能够根据所学内容发表自己的观点。2.过程与方法
(1)能够通过师生说、两两说和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程,掌握英语说听的基本方法;
(2)能够通过两两说和综合说体验合作学习的过程和方法;
(3)能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言,有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望。3.情感态度与价值观(1)学生能够快乐地学习。
(2)学生在小组合作交流中,形成合作意识和团结精神。(3)培养学生的审美观,激发学生的奉献精神。

突破重、难点的策略:以学生自学为主,指导学生阅读课文找出重、难点并借助工具书解决问题,在学生自学的基础上教师给以归纳、总结。

Presentation
1.Show some pictures and teach some new words about clothes.Eg.a yellow blouse
a white dre
a pink skirt
a colourful tie
a blue skirt
a purple blouse
a pair of blue jeans
2.Teach some useful adjectives with some pictures.Eg.modern,smart,cool,colourful,beautiful
3.Show some pictures,and get the students to match the clothes with the material.Revise the words:cotton,silk,wool and leather.Step 2 Free talk 1. Show some pictures about fashion show ,get the students to talk about the fashion Show.Tell them that the fashion show gives us some information about fashionable clothes or hair styles.2.Show pictures of the children in our text,and ask:(1)Who are they?(2)What are they doing?(3)What clothes are they wearing? 3.Get the students to scan the text and answer:Why are they having the fashion show? Step 3 Listen and answer Get the students to look at the pictures,listen to the tape and answer some questions.1.Look at the picture of Simon ,listen and answer:(1)Who is he?(2)What is he wearing?(3)Are his clothes from the 1980s?(4)How does he look?

本课是我在新课标理念下的一次尝试。学生思维活跃,对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,乐于表达自己的思想,渴望得到同学和教师的赞许。我努力激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生良好的学习习惯,提高学生的自主学习和创新能力。
