Unit 1 What are they doing?
一、教学目标及要求：
语言知识目标：
1、识记词汇 people,park,lake,drink,men等。
2、使学生能听懂会说Look at the men under the tree.What are they doing? They are playing che.语言技能目标: 谈论人们在公园的活动。
二、情感态度目标：
1、通过本课的学习，让学生了解中国的传统节日“端午节”的风俗习惯。
2、了解中国的武术。
3、使学生能更大胆讲英语，培养学生的语感。

四、教学步骤: Step1、情景交际
What are you doing?的游戏，请学生参加。
Step2、集中识词
1、（导入新词）教师边做动作，边说词组： row a boat , do taijiq n.要求先猜意思，再做动作游戏：请一名同学说数字，其他同学说英语。教师拿着单词卡，学生抢答出单词。
2、听录音，集体跟读，每个单词读两遍，教师可适当示范，教师再出示大单词卡让学生集体跟读（看着英语读一遍，再看着汉语读说英语一遍）。
3、两人小组读，一学生出示小单词卡，另一学生读（看着英语读一遍，再看着汉语读说英语一遍），然后再交换读。
4、小组展示，抽2-3个小组就在小组中学习的情况到讲台上进行展示。
Step3、新知呈现
1、老师出示一些单人活动的图片，向学生讲解：In this picture, she’s playing basketball.In this picture, she’s talking to a friend.老师再出示一些很多人的图片说：Today ,I’d like to ask you to about these pictures.Look, in these pictures, there are many people.What are they dong? 引导学生回答问题。
2、将重点词和句子写在黑板上带领学生朗读。老师出示挂图，展现公园的场景：图中有在打太极拳、湖面上有在划龙舟、树下有人在下棋的，此外还有几个小孩在喝豆浆，逐图出示并提出问题What are they dong? What’s heshe doing? 引导学生回答问题。
Step4、Practice in pairs.两人一组进行句型操练。
Practice in groups：请学生以小组为单位进行讨论，然后向全班汇报。
Step 5 课文教学
（1）老师把课文挂图帖在黑板上，播放录音呈现SB Unit1活动1的内容。请学生边看图边听录音，要求注意听对话中提出的问题，他们应该找到两个问题.What are they doing? What are they drinking?（2）听了三遍录音以后请回答下面问题：What are they doing? What are they drinking? Some people are dong Taijiq n，where are they? Some people are rowing boat, where are they?引导学生得出答案in the parkon the lakeunder the tree.（3）模仿跟读（Listen and read after the tape）
以小组为单位分角色表演课文，然后请几组学生到教室前展示。
Step 6 Conclusion and homework(小结与作业)
（1）
读一读，背一背SB Unit 1活动1。
（2）
收集有关其他节日的图片或者照片，并了解其风俗习惯。
