15th of July,1988, Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew were first officially met each other on their graduation day.As everyone had come home,left them staring at each other, Dexter finally walked Emma home.In Emma’s place,Dexter told Emma that the 15th of July is Saint Swithin’s day and if it doesn’t rain ,something remains.After that night,they became good friends and decided to meet each other on 15th of July of every year.They came to different country after finished their college education.Actually,Emma had a crush on Dexter when she was in college.However,Dexter is a spoiled man and he loved to play with women but never give his true love to them.In a way,he didn’t take his life seriously.Because of this fatal defect,his parents were disappointed at him and Emma nearly left him.Afterwards,Dexter’s mother paed away and then he gone through a big down in his career.In 2000,he decided to get married with Sylvie,though he didn’t truly love her.However,three years later,they divorced.Dexter went to Emma only to find she had someone called Jean-Pierre and he decided to leave,broken-hearted.At last,Emma found herself still in love with Dexter very much and she finally get married with him.But this is not the story ends,Emma died of a car accident and left Dexter alone and he could only meet Emma by memory in the rest of
his life.It is a long story,but we truly can learn something from it.We do make mistakes when we are young,it is natural.In this film,Dexter made a lot of mistakes and hopefully he finally realized it and resumed his life happily.But it’s a pity that he didn’t do the right thing earlier.So,what catches me is that the most important thing is to get out of the mistakes and mend our faults as early as we can.we should keep an open eye on what is truly good, trying to figure out what kind of person we should be and cherish the one who give true love to us.Try to leave our life more happine and le pity.
