After reading The Love of a King
Today I read a simple version of the love of a king,I first read it in my listening textbook and I have special feeling about it.You know,some love storys may be just a farytale,and I believe the true love may be long-last instead of being widely broadcast in the world.It sounds a little strange,but that's my foolish thoughts.But as soon as I lost myself in the story I was deeply touched and it certainly strenghens my belief in true love.All he wanted to do is to marry the woman he fell in love with.But unfortunately,the country coldly said“NO!” He was Edward VIII ,king of great Britain,king of india,king of Australia, and king of thirty-nine other countries,but the wrong things he loved a woman that he should not in the eyes of the royal family.The woman's name was Wallice,she was so beautiful in his eyes but she belongs to other man,she has already married.What was lucky to both man and woman was that they love each other than any other things,so their love was the only thing that deserved to pursue,they have to make a choice.The woman wrote a letter to his husband to divorce,how generous and kind her husband was,he agreed and promised that he would always by his side whenever was needed,she was lucky indeed.But the king had to make his choice,the truth was that he couldn't marry a woman like Wallice if he would like to be a king of Great Britain.When making decisions,he said“I was a king,but also I was a man in love.”He choose to cherish his fortune with a beautiful woman.The love story shok the world,the king leave the country,never to return.They loved each other and led a happy life,like those happine people in farytale.For over thirty years, Edward had been looking for the ideal.He was a rich England prince.He had lived an authoritative life.But everything was meaningle to him.One day, his heart was embarraed.His world seemed to be changing.He wanted to say a lot but it was very difficult.Because he had fallen in love.Wallis was a beautiful woman.With attractive lips and smile.Her eyes were full of fire.Edward met her once but he would mi her forever.Beautiful love’s difficult to grow.It is always put to test.Edward was a king with lots of hard work.How could he marry a married woman? Real love will be forever.He had left the crown and didn’t regret it.Because love would forgive everything.The past was the story of yesterday.They had lived with pure love.Thoughtle of high rank and luxury.Edward was happy because he had found the ideal.Happine was “long live love’’.
