Review of Jane Eyre
When Jane was a little girl, she spent a hard time.Aunt Reed thought she had no feelings, and that she could do without one bit of love or kindne;maybe in this reason, aunt Reed violently thrust her back-into the red-room, and locked her up there, though she cried out, while suffocating with distre,“have mercy!Have mercy!Aunt Reed!”
We can imagine that a girl at that age sustained so much misfortune, however, when she heard her aunt got ill and was going to die, she said to her aunt she hoped her aunt could be persuaded to think no more of it and to regard her with kindne and forgivene.Jane though that she would be happier if she tried to forget her aunt’s severity, she knew that life appeared to her too short to be spent in nursing animosity, or registering wrongs.As we all known, it’s not easy for Jane who had a miserable childhood to do like this and I respect her very much.After her aunt sent her to school, she met with Helen.Helen is a large, mild and intelligent girl.Jane cherished for her a sentiment of attachment.When Jane said to her“If I were in your place I should dislike her;I should resist her;if she struck me with that rod, I should get it from her hand;I should break it under her nose.” Helen replied that “It’s better to endure patiently a smart which nobody feels but yourself, than to commit a hasty action whose evil consequences will extend to all connected with you;and, besides, the Bible bids us return good for evil”.At the beginning, Jane heard her with wonder: she could not comprehend this doctrine of endurance;and still le could she understand or sympathize with the forbearance Helen expreed for her chastiser.At last, Helen let Jane realize that if the whole world hated her, and believed her wicked, while her own conscience approved her, and absolved her from guilty;she would not be without friends.How could it be otherwise, when Helen, at all times and under all circumstances, evinced for Jane a quiet and friendship, which ill-humor never soured, nor irritation ever troubled.Their friendship is deep.When Jane went to Thorn field Hall to educate Adele as a teacher, her love story begun.She and Mr.Rochester loved with each other.However ,they couldn’t get married.The road of their love is as hard as Jane’ childhood.To our amazement ,the outcome is excellent.Jane could witne hourly in Mr.Rochester a style of courtship which, if carele and choosing rather to be leens, captivating, and in its very pride, irresistible.Mr.Rochester also loved Jane ,however ,he couldn’t say it to Jane for the reason that he had got married and had a wife.He said Jane was cold.because she was alone :no contact stroke the fire from her that was in her.She was sick ,because the best of feelings ,the highest and the1
sweetest given to man ,kept far away from her.As we all known, due to Jane’ indifference and Mr.Rochester’s self-respect, he had to said like this instead of love words.With the love story going ,Jane repreed that she endured no longer;she was obliged to yield ,and she was shaken from head to foot with acute distre.When she did speak ,it was only to expre a impetuous wish that she had never been born ,or never come to Thorn field.Jane is no longer unconcerned about Mr.Rochester’ words ,she is no longer stubborn ,she expre her emotion ,she expreed that she had loved Mr.Rochester’ deeply in heart and cannot stop.And when I read that Mr.Rochester said to Jane :“You-you strange ,you almost unearthly thing!-I love you as my own flesh.You-poor and obscure ,and small and plain as you are-I entreat to accept me as a husband.”I cried, their love story is special;it touched me and attracted me to read it all the time.I also love the surroundings in the work the writer describe.Let me make one of the beautiful descriptions for example.“The consequence was that when the moon, which was full and bright, came in her course to that space in the sky opposite my casement, and looked in at me through the unveiled panes, her glorious gaze roused me.”These words are all beautiful and I usually want to read it for a second time.From the descriptions of the environment, we can judge the psychology of the leaders and infer what will happen next.I am grateful for the writer to bring us the perfect and impreive work.When I am reading ,I feel sorry for Jane’ hard time in her aunt’ home when she was only a child without parents.I’m also glad that Jane got acquainted with Helen ,a kindne ,intelligent and beautiful girl.I respect Jane’ tolerance ,she forgave her aunt even though her aunt hated her-dying ,she hate her still.I love the love story about Jane and Mr.Rochester ,they both spent a hard time ,maybe their love is not as right as rain ,they tried their best and get together at last.Just as the song Mr.Rochester sung to Jane：
“I dangers dared;
I Hindrance scorned;
