Well, I have to say such a great masterpiece is really worthy times of reading, at least for me.I seldom read the works of Shakespeare and now I see it’s really a pity.Fortunately it’s not too late for me to make up for this.And for this one, Hamlet, I want to talks about the main actors one by one who leave a deep impreion on me.First, of course it’ll be the prince Hamlet.I think he was born to be different from others as he is a prince, a member of the authority of a country.There would be so many incredible experiences in his life definitely.But what he had experienced was too awful and hard to be accepted by him or anyone else in the world.Because of his father, the king, who was killed by not other person but his uncle, a man who was rude and addicted to power.What’s worse, his mother remarried the bad uncle after the real king was dead.How complicated and immoral it was even in modern time.The poor prince must have been through many things during that time and it was hatred that forced him to be an avenger.And avenge can bring one out of mind to do
anything that he thinks to be right.It becomes the source of the coming tragedy.Second, Ophelia, the poorest person in this story I think, was suffering from losing his father and his lover Hamlet as a victim of the revenge.She loved both of them, one brought her up, and another showed a lot of romantic imagination on her.How could she tolerate this all by herself? She finally went crazy and lost her life.She had nothing to do with this but she cost her life to change for her love.How miserable it is!
Third, the queen Gertrude, she couldn’t match the role of a “mother” and a “wife” after what she had done.And I find it is really interesting that Shakespeare designed the plot which Gertrude was mistakenly killed by her own son.Our readers can take a relief after reading this part because many of us believe that “man deserves what he did”.Finally the bad one, Claudius, also deserved to be dead after killing his own brother for the power of king, and manipulating the good ones to take a risk, like Ophelia’s father and brother.Maybe he won the position of king and even the primary queen.But it was short, and it cannot be bleed by God and prayed by people.It was lucky for him to be dead or else he won’t own any cares from his relatives and people.Well, there are other actors who play an important role in this wonderful story, even if it’s a tragedy.Besides I want to talk about the film called The Banquet, which Mr.Zhang also referred it to us in the cla.I had watched the film first and then my clamates told me that it’s copied from Hamlet.As the film is so-so and I naturally thought the book Hamlet cannot be wonderful.But the story was changed somehow in Banquet as the queen was loved by three men, the “two kings” and the prince.It’s more complicated for us audiences to take a judge even though the new story was decorated with Chinese culture and it was logical in the structure.And this kind of Chinese film seems to pay too much attention on the beauty of the film, not the story itself.I don’t mean to copy the original story is wrong or not, but I’m wondering why our film directors especially the famous ones cannot direct movies by using our own stories.And once someone did, he or she wouldn’t care about whether it’s wonderful or not.All of them will take the appearance or outlook for the first place.It’s a failure of our film industry.Well, back to the theme.Because I just read the outline of the story and my English-expreing ability is limited, I can hardly tell all of my thought out.But I have tried my best to write down most of my feeling, that’s all, thank you so much!
