Oliver Twist, one of the masterpieces of the prominent author---Charles Dickens, really struck a deep chord in my mind.After reading it for two times and dwelling on the underneath of the content ending, I was firmly convinced that persistence and a heart of gold would bring happine ultimately.At first, I just intended to dip into this book to get the main plots.Quite unexpectedly, just having this skim shocked me thoroughly.I can't imagine how can this little boy bear so enormous sufferings? When abused so cruelly, he gritted his teeth and bore them;when Noah tended to insult his mother, he furiously fought back;when running away to London, he had lived seven-day miserable life;when threatened to steal, he tried to wake up the sleeping.To our griever, his persistence and bravery brought him nothing more than mischance.However, instead of succumbing to torture, he keep brave and persistent.Afterwords, to become better acquainted with these characters, I read it once more carefully.And for this time, what touched me deepest were the gold heart of Mr.Brownlow, Mrs.Maylie, Rose, and of course, little Oliver.Frankly, I admire Oliver's simplicity.His rejection to be a burglar, politene to everyone, forgivene to his ignoble brother, and appreciation to Fagin's care are all evidences of his inbred goodne.As for Mr.Brownlow, Mrs.Maylie and Rose, Reckle to any consequences, they just trust Oliver, take care of him and love him wholeheartedly, which brought hope and warm to Oliver.But what if they were not kind?
