Self introduction: Good morning/afternoon,my dear teachers!I am very glad to be here to introduce myself.My name is lengyuxuan, and you can also call me Shine, it’s an English name given by a Philippine friend.I am graduating from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics this June, majoring in Economic Statistics.Generally speaking, I’m a Harding-working student especially doing the things I am interested in.I love to study Economic statistics and I have won two scholarships during the past four years.Also, I am an outgoing and warm-hearted girl, besides my major, I am also interested in public welfare and charity.When I was a freshman, I have been to abroad,Philippine, to do some charity as an global volunteer, the experience changed my view about the world and also improved my ability.In addition, in my second and third year of university, I have tried to do some research about public welfare industry, which made me so exciting.During that time,I enjoyed reading many articles and papers, asking relevant people questions and making new opinions.And it is this experience that spurred my enthusiastic in research, so I want to study further to learn more about my major and do some research which contribute to society.Last but not least, I am a girl with strong responsibility and perseverance, if I set a goal ahead, I would like to try my best to finish it and leave no regrets.Well, in my spare time, I like reading, fitne and music, etc.During the past years, I went to the fitne room nearly twice a week.Fitne such as yoga build my body and relax myself.Also, I like reading books concerning economic and society.If I have some reflections about the book, I would like to put my thoughts into words.During the past four years,I have made many good friends and learned from them a lot.I love my college life and I sincerely desire to study further and begin my postgraduate life here.That’s all about me, thank you very much!
Questions about your brief introduction: 1, Can you share your charity experience in Philippine with us? Yeah, sure!I am very glad to share with you my experience in Philippine.It was in summer vacation, when I was 19 years old.I managed to pa the interview and persuade my parents, and took the plane to Phlippine,Davao.I was in group with four exchange participates from Germany,Ruia,Morocco and Malaysia.Through field research, our group made a charity plan to help one village to take the first-aid training and give first-aid kits to the villagers, and finally, we made it.My contribute to our group work is fund raising.Because I am a Chinese girl, I went to the Chinatown to seek sponsors from companies, and I have collect 20000 piso.Finally, our project finished and the left money was donated to Syria’s children.What I learned from this experience was the view about learning the world and the ability to accomplish a project.In many cases, what you heard is different from what you finally see, and the best way to know about the world is to practice.Take the case for example, when I proposed I want to go to Philippine to do some charity, my parents just took my words as a joking.They considered Philippine was dangerous and even some places was in war.But finally I persuaded my parents and found the city,Davao,was very safe.And Philippians was very nice even though I was Chinese.So, from then on, I began to believe what you heard is not always what you finally see.2, What is your research about public welfare concerning? Do you have your own opinion about the industry? In my sophomore year, I initiated the innovative project called “Explore the development of public welfare industry” with three other schoolmates.Through discuion, our group decided to explore the development of charity shops in Nanchang.So, we visited several charity shops and read relevant articles, and finally we finished the research about the dilemma and solution to the development of charity shops in Nanchang.My opinions in the development of the industry are as followings: firstly, public welfare organizations need to face the problem of transparency of information and funds.Luckily, now, many organizations are using Blockchain Techonology to solve the problem, like the organization fun in funding.Secondly, the organizations need to transfer to profit models like foreign countries do, only in this way can they achieve its sustainable developments.3,What is your favourite book? Can you have a brief introduction? My favorite book is , written by an author doudou.This book depicts a man who does well in stock and is master of Chinese philosophy.He use his wise to help a poor village become rich but in the same time, the way he helped the village also destroyed the village.One of the main idea of this book is that there is no savior in the world, the only one who can actually help you is yourself.Follow the natural law, be pure and practical, and succe is on the way.4, Among your friends in your university, Who have the greatest influence on you? Why? The one who influence me most is my senior schoolmate, she entered the university one year earlier than me.She is a special girl, she often thinks different from ordinary students and dare to put her ideas into practice.In my sophomore year, we established a charity organization and often shared opinions with each other.She is very frank, pure and firm, which are the characters I appreciate a lot.Her personality and different ideas also have a great influence on me.Common questions: 1,What is your greatest strength? And what is your greatest weakne? I feel that my greatest strength is the attitude,sincerity.If I have a chance to do a project, I will first consider its meaning, if it’s worth doing, I will hand it sincerely, dedicate myself to finish the project perfectly and leave no regrets.In the same time, if the project has no actual meaning, even though I can make much profit from it, I will not think about it anymore.I believe sincerity rather than false is the most important.My greatest weakne might be that sometimes I pay much attention to the details and ignore the whole project.If I face a problem and can not deal with it yet, I will get nervous about it all the time, and want to solve the problem first even though I don’t have any idea yet.The weakne can be influence the whole project.I will try my best to overcome the weakne.Now,I am making time sheet everyday, writing to do list and deadline, I believe this method will help me to overcome it.2,What is your reasons for taking postgraduate exams?
There are two main reasons for my choice.Firstly, I love to learn more about my major ,and I am longing for doing research after graduation.I want to have such an experience, reading many papers, doing field investigation, making my own opinions and writing articles.I consider this experience will help me think deeply and freely and get wise, which are beneficial to my work and life.Further more, my parents support me a lot, they want me to learn more theoretical knowledge and they think I don’t need to struggle to make money right now, it can be two years later.3,Why do you choose to study in our department? Because statistics in renmin university ranks the number one, the academic atmosphere ,teachers and students attract me a lot.I also appreciate the school motto very much, ‘seek truth from facts’.I want to try my best to prepare the exam, seize the chance to improve myself and to read comprehensively and think deeply.I feel that studying here is really a happine.4,What is your plan in the postgraduate study? I am from Yichun, Jiangxi province.Jiangxi is famous for mountains and lakes, and Yichun city also features Mount Mingyueshan natural park and hot spring.The mountain got the name because it looks like the moon when we look down upon it.There are many streams,creeks, and waterfalls in the mountain, which form a beautiful painting.And the hot spring is simply the nature’s work.The best time to enjoy the hot spring is in winter, you can float or swim in the hot spring pool while appreciate the snow outside.What a such fun in our life.Well, that is my beloved hometown.6,Can you introduce us about your family?
