Future Career, Major and University Life With respect to my future, I want to be a mechanical engineer.I have a very great paion for mechanical engineering that has developed since childhood.I have grown interest in this area of engineering after a long intervention with my cousin who did his job in mechanical engineering presently.Diversity is a major iue that arises when mechanical engineering is considered.I have learnt from my cousin that being a mechanical engineer qualifies you to work in quite many different areas.This fact really builds up my interest in this area since I will be able to exercise my diverse dimensions of viewing and doing things, which is strength in.I have been dreaming of careers whereby I can be able to experience my freedom through exercising and expreing my views and innovations.Mechanical engineers are constantly being asked to make decisions.The size, shape, and material of every part of every mechanical product created must be decided by a mechanical engineer.They also have to determine the best and most efficient ways to manufacture the products.As to me, if I want to be a mechanical engineer, I have to know more about mechanical.But what should we do at university and what major should we learned.At the university level, mechanical engineering majors can expect to learn advanced mathematics, calculus, chemistry, and physics.After some of these core courses, mechanical engineering majors take specialized courses in: Fluid dynamics Materials science
Manufacturing procees
Thermodynamics and heat transfer Environmental science
We will also take advanced computer claes that deal with design.Such as, Solidworks, Ug and Autocad.Time spent at a university is a most worthwhile period in a young person's life.This is a time when a student begins to form his or her ideas about life in general.Attending claes and studying in the library keep a student busy and provide him or her with acce to valuable information, adding to his or her knowledge base.Campus life can also be rich and colorful.Most universities offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports events, contests, and other social gatherings, enabling the students to experience relief from study and homework.Students often form lifelong friendships through the varied experiences of university life.During the time a student spends at university, he not only develops his intelligence, he also develops social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom neceary for choosing a future career.By learning how to balance intense study and recreation, a student will be well prepared for the challenges of future responsibilities.Different people have different lifestyles.In the three years during my college life, I feel that what I have done is only just so-so.My major score is just so-so too.So the last year, I don’t want to a so-so life.In the next coming year, I don’t want to graduate, I want to take part in the entrance exams for postgraduate school.So everyday I spend much time reading in the library, I feel everyday is colorful.I believe that as long as working hard and don’t give up, My postgraduate dream will come ture.Xiong Hua
