Nancy:In fact, CCH, which is part of Wolters Kluwer, began its operation in China as early as in 1985, compiling a series of anthologies on Chinese laws, financial and tax regulations related to foreign investment.Many overseas enterprises get to know about China’s economic environment and legal
framework through CCH which has maintained an office in China for 10 years by now and has brought out publications of approximately 20 million Chinese characters.We have very old ties with China.Wolters Kluwer formally entered China last year by restructuring its operations, combining all its independent sub brands and having them report directly to the headquarters in the Netherlands instead of to the Asia-Pacific head office as in the past.We did this because we have very good expectations for the Chinese market in general and also because we particularly value the experience and talents that CCH has accumulated for us over the last 10 years here in China.As a result, all our brand names found their way here and increased their busine investment in China last year.
