was built in the 8th year of the Xianfeng Period by Zhang Jingxiu, a native of Guancheng.Spread around the garden’s 2,200 sq.mts are several Chinese pavilions of exquisite design.All the buildings were built using smoked bricks, which gives them a distinctive and claical look.They are illustrative of the style of the landscape gardens of the Lingnan area.As a national heritage preserved unit, Park.Keyuan Museum is divided into three sections known as “Vision of the Garden”, “Grooming of the Garden”, and “Poetry and Paintings Legacy“.Using ancient architecture as a backdrop, the museum features Zhang Jingxiu's life and artistic attainments, his vision of the garden and his family’s contributions to arts.Keyuan Museum was officially opened to the public in late April 2008.Naval Battle Museum Located on the east coast of Humen seaport, Dongguan City and near the Site of Weiyuan Battery, the Naval Battle Museum.the museum has a total area of 204,000 sq.mts.and a construction area of 10,000 sq.mts.The memorial complex includes the Exhibition Building, the Vow Square, and the Long Dyke over the Sea.The Humen Battery, which used to be an ancient battlefield of the Opium War, has now become a key cultural site under special national protection and served as a base for the museum which, by displaying cultural relics and historical data, reproduces the solemn and heroic scenes of Chinese people’s fight against British invaders during the Opium War.The inner structure creating an engaging atmosphere and providing visitors with a panoramic view.The exhibits are divided thousands of people, the Half-Panorama of Humen Naval Battle unfolds a grand scene in which Chinese soldiers and other common people, led by Generals Guan Tianpei and Chen Liansheng, pledged to fight to the death against invaders to defend each and every inch of the motherland during the defense of Humen, in 1841.Songshan Lake Over two decades since the launch of the reform and opening-up campaigns in China, Dongguan has achieved rapid historical transition from an agricultural county to an uprising industrial city and grown into a world-renowned proceing and manufacturing base, taking ”combination of nature and human", for the natural conditions are appropriately utilized and the topography and geomorphology of the Pearl River delta are properly related.Thus the location as near
