Leave Policy
Public Holidays
All staff are entitled to the following public holidays: New Year’ Day Labour DayNational Day
Annual Leave 2.1
All employees are entitled to take paid annual leave at a time or times convenient to the Company, for a maximum of 10 busine days after 12 months of consecutive employment with the Company, 2.2
Unused paid holiday entitlement may not be carried to a future calendar year.Subject to clause 2.3, the Employee has no entitlement to be paid in lieu of accrued but unused holidays.2.3
Upon termination of Employment, the Employee’s entitlement to accrued paid holiday shall be calculated on a pro rata basis(which calculation shall be made on the basis that each day of paid holiday is equivalent to one thirtieth(1/30)of the Employee’s Base Salary).If the Employee has taken more paid holiday than his accrued entitlement, the Company is authorised to deduct the appropriate amount from his final salary instalment(which deduction shall be made on the basis that each day of paid holiday is equivalent to one thirtieth(1/30)of the Employee’s Base Salary).2.4 2.5
The minimum permitted annual leave is 0.5 days.Any leave taken in exce of what has been earned will be regarded as unpaid leave.Employees are requested to get prior approval from supervisor before they take annual leaves.If an employee requests to take more than 3 consecutive days, he/she should apply 5 working days in advance.No advance leave will be granted to employees.3
Sick Leave 3.1
Employees can apply for sick leaves when they are suffering from sickne or injuries out of non-work-related accidents.Application form shall be filled with the attachment of Medical Certificates from government clinics or hospital as documentary evidence, and approved by direct supervisor.January 1 May 1 – 3day 3 days 3 days 3 days

Calendar day includes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.The purpose of this procedure is to standardize the proce of leave application.Applicable for all local full time employees.Female employees can enjoy a half day holiday if March 8 falls on a weekday.1/3
3.2 In case the employee can not obtain the approval in advance, he/she should telephone
his/her direct supervisor within 24 hours and complete the application proce within 3 days either by himself or through designated colleague.3.3
3.4Injury-on-duty Leave
An employee is entitled to take Injury-on-duty Leave if he/she encounters accident at work.The nature of the accident shall be authenticated by related government offices.Marriage Leave
5.1 Employees who obtain marriage certificate during their employment with Grainger China are
entitled to Marriage Leave.According to government regulation, employees can take 3
calendar days marriage leave.5.2

6.5 Female employees are entitled to 90 days paid statutory maternity leave, plus any periods in addition to 90 days that the Employee is entitled to under relevant laws and regulations.Female employees are entitled to 30 days leave with pay for natural abortion within 3 months.Female employees are entitled to 45 days leave with pay for natural abortion within 3 to 7 months.Male employees are entitled to 3 days leave with pay for the delivery of their wives.Female employees who intend to take Maternity Leave should give notice to the Company
by informing her immediate supervisor and HR Department with a minimum of two months notice period.Leave Request Form with a pregnancy certificate specifying the expected
date of confinement should be submitted for application.6.6

8.Compaionate Leave
Employees are allowed to take 3 calendar days Funeral Leave when their immediate family member, i.e.parents, children, spouse and brothers or sisters, paes away.They are given 1 Further medical certificate regarding the actual date of confinement must be submitted in due course after delivery.The maternity leave includes weekend and public holiday and should be taken at one time.If they meet the late marriage standard, i.e.man over 25 years old and ladies over 23 years old, they are entitled to 10 calendar days marriage leave.2 calendar days are given to employees who marry for the second time.The marriage leaves include weekends and public holidays.The Marriage Leave includes weekend and public holiday and should be taken at one time.All confirmed employees entitled to le than(including)6 days paid sick leave every year: Employee is not allowed to accumulate sick leave.Sick Leave taken shall be at least in half-day.Any sick leave taken in acce of 6 days per calendar year will be treated as unpaid leave.calendar day off if one of their close relatives, i.e.grand parents, parents-in-law, brothers or sisters of parents paes away.9.Unpaid Leave
Unpaid leave shall be granted on the case by case basis and approved by department head, HROfficer and General Manager.10.Leave Application Proce
All leave application shall be first reviewed by HR Department on its entitlement.Employees
should obtain approval from their direct supervisor if they apply for le than 3 days leave.Should an employee apply for more than 3 days(including 3 days)leave, except for the consent from his/her direct supervisor, approval from the second higher level supervisor is neceary.Human Resource Department will be responsible for proce management and policy revision.
