English Leon Interpretation Good morning everyone,Today, I’ll say something about Unit 1 in Module2.Background on the reformation of curriculum, this book can connect the life and act, emphasize the interest and experience of the students, the pictures are active and vivid.Grade five in primary school is the initial stage of English learning, so it strees on the emotion of the students, creates a well beginning for the students. This Unit has 4 parts, we’ll learn Part 2 mainly, it embodies the repeating characterize.Review the learned language points “We bought…”and the new language points will be represented in the following units. So this unit forms connecting links with a special meaning in this book. The content of this period is to use “How much…”and “How many„”.And according to the contents and the fact of the students, I establish the following two teaching aims of this period: The first one: Students can use the sentence pattern: What did you buy? The second one: Students can understand when to use “How many” and when to use “How much”.I think the most difficult point of this period is to make sure the students can use the patterns “How many„ ” and “How much„”in their daily life correctly. And I will use some pictures, videos and the multi-media computer to help me achieve the aims. The task-based method, communicated method, group cooperate method will be used in this period. To accomplish the aims, I design the following steps: 1.Let students listen and look at the video 2.Ask students to close their books and answer questions about the text 3.Let students read the text by following the video.4.Introduce the idea of “countable” and “uncountable” nouns.Make sure the students understand that “How much…” is used for uncountable nouns, while “How many…” is used for countable nouns.5.Pay more attention to the third part---At Home: let students follow the video again sentence by sentence.Make sure my students understand most of the sentences.6.Practice the ask and answer with the structures:
According to the contact with my students in cla, I know they have been familiar with the fruit names, such as, apple, banana, pear, orange and watermelon. So during the teaching and learning, I will pay more attention to the sentence pattern---“How many” and “How much”
That’s all for my leon interpretation. The Teaching Plan of Module 2 Unit 1 what did you buy? Students Analysis: According to the contact with my students in cla, I know they have been familiar with the fruit names, such as, apple, banana, pear, orange and watermelon. So during the teaching and learning, I will pay more attention to the sentence pattern---“How many” and “How much”.Textbook Analysis:
Since students learn English, this is the first time for them to meet the sentence pattern about the quantity. It’s very important in grammar, so it’s the foundation.Teaching Objectives: 1.Students can use the sentence pattern: What did you buy? 2.Students can understand when to use “How many” and when to use “How much”.Teaching Key Points: Learn the sentence pattern---“How many” and “How much”.Teaching Difficult Points:
It may be very difficult for students to read the text fluently because it’s very long and has three contexts.Warm up:
1.Sing a song in Module1---THE LONDON EYE
2.Review the vocabulary of fruit previously learnt with the students.3.Practice the sentence pattern:----Do you like apples/bananas/oranges/pears?
----Yes, I do./No, I don’t.Lead in:
1.Play the “Look, listen and say”
2.Have students imagine what Sam bought and what he ate.3.Add items to the list and lead the questions like “how many/much…did he buy?” and “how many/much…did he eat?” Presentation: 7.Let students listen and look at the video 8.Ask students to close their books and answer questions about the text Examples: T: How many pears did they buy?
Ss: Four pears.T: How many apples did they buy?
Ss: Four apples.T: How many eggs did they buy?

B: I bought… A: Did you buy any…? B:Yes, I bought ….Homework:
