通过游戏及一些自编材料帮助学生学习和巩固音标：
1、编一段话，里面含48个音标

如为了巩固/eI/, /i:/, /aI/的发音，可利用下面这个材料让学生吟诵。

辅音字母堵后门，一元字母音短急；

4、做游戏巩固音标
*音标接龙
教师在黑板上画一个男孩、一个女孩，然后拿出一个元音卡片，如/eI/，教师先用这个元音组成一个尾音是辅音的音，如/leIk/, 让学生用/k/ 这个尾音再组音，可能是/keit/ /teip/ /peis/ /seim/ /meid /等等，男女生以抢答形式，不重复别人的音。一节课可以练习5~6个元音和全部学过的辅音。这样学生不但提高了学习音标的积极性，而且学到了用元音组音的能力。
