Dear teacher and clamates: I’m very glad to make a speech here!Today I’ll share with you a very good book which I have read recently.I am greatly influenced by it.Its title is How to Win Friends & Influence People.It was written by Dale Carnegie, a famous American writer and the “father” of adult education in the United States.This is a claic self-help book, and was once a popular model for global(全球的)self-education and adult training.Even many American Presidents and other succeful people once read it.The book was written in the early 20th century, when the American economy(经济)was in a great depreion（萧条）.At that time war and poverty（貧困）led the people to the lo of the desire for a better life.In his book, Dale Carnegie told many true stories of ordinary（普通人）people.They all met with succe in the end through their struggle(奋斗).The book inspired countle（无数的）people who was confused（困境）or in trouble and helped them to find their own life in the past.Now it still inspires a lot of modern people including me , and I believe you will be inspired by it if you read it.At least you will learn how to make friends with people and how to treat others politely.I will be waiting to talk more with you about the book after your reading.That’s all for my speech today.Thank you for your listening!
