Good evening everyone, my name is Caroline.As you all know tonight’s speech topic, is le is more.I feel that participating in college aociations can be a great example of this concept.College is a place where almost all freshmen will participate in many kinds of aociations.It can be an exciting and fun filled time for those of us who participate in the many activities available, but if we involve ourselves in too many we will find that we cannot focus on any.When I was a freshman, I joined three clubs I liked.At the beginning, I was excited about it, but then I started to have many problems.Club A informed me to attend one of their meetings, but Club B also had a meeting at the exact same time.I could not attend both meetings so I had to decide which one to attend.Another example was when club B told me that we had to do some activities;club C did the same thing.I again had to make a choice between which club activities I would attend.It was too difficult for me to do well in all three clubs.So I chose the club that I enjoyed the most.Problem solved!I found that “le was more” when I focused on one club, I was not as tired and I could focus on doing my best with the club that I chose.Sometimes focusing on one or two things can be far more meaningful to us and better for our lives.Thank you for your time.
