Good afternoon everyone!Today the topic of my speech is ＂discover myself＂.A recent review paper shows that we might not know ourselves as well as we think.We humans are introspective.We observe patterns of our own behavior and we have memories for review.So you probably think you know yourself pretty well.Not so fast.In fact, others can have much more accurate impreions of us than we do.That’s according to a review article in the journal Current Directions in Psychological Science.A 2010 study found that friends are significantly more accurate in judging traits like intelligence, talkativene and creativity—traits that are observable and measurable.However, in the social life, a person has to understand how he is like and how the social environment functions in order to find his place.For man is man and master of his fate.We should organize our life so that we can work peacefully, endure nobly and live happily.So how to discover myself? First of all, we should have self-awarene, to know we are good with something but not good with some other things.Then, we can try to overcome our weakne or improve our moral standard, academicals and social skills and so on.Everyone knows this truth: You need try thousands of maps to get a treasure.For some of us, our potential is exactly the same as that treasure,all we need to do is try to find the map.As an old saying says，＂Nothing is written, you’ve been taught how to write for yourself.＂没有什么时天注定的。你们应该被教会怎样谱写自己的生活 Dare to compare, dare to care, dare to dream, dare to love.The door to all the best things in the world will open to me, but the key to that door is in my hand.That is all my presentation, thank you for listening.
