Ladies and Gentlemen，Good morning everybody, today I will make a speech about the problems of owning a car.As we all know, in modern society, cars are playing a more and more important part in our daily life.It’s very convenient for us to
go from one place to another if we own a car.And the car has been a sign of wealth.However , each coin has two sides.There are also some problems of owning a car.Firstly, cars take up so much space thatthey make our world become more and more crowded.Secondly , running a car needs a lot of oil, which is getting le and le.Thirdly, with the number of cars increasing, the traffic is getting heavier and heavier, especially in big cities.And this leads to a very funny phenomenon, sometimes, driving a car is even more slowly than walking.What's worse, traffic accidents are rising rapidly.For example, in a city with 10000 cars, there will be at least 500 accidents happening every day.Thousands of people lose their lives in traffic accidents every year and many families are broken because of this.Last but not least, cars pollute the environment by giving off carbon dioxide.In my opinion, in order to solve these problems, we should walk, ride or take buses instead of driving cars.It’s not only good for ourselves, but also good for the earth.That’s all.Thank you for your listening.
