The proce of first aid Hello , my dear profeor and my dear clamates.My name is Lin Bilin.I am glad to have the opportunity to be with you.Today we are have to talk about the proce of doing something.My major is clinical medicine ,so let's talk about the proce of first aid.When you find someone lying on the ground at the gate of death , you should give a helping hand or the person may die.You can call the 120 to get profeional medical support service.When we dial the 120 hotline , we have to tell the operator where we are , and there is a patient that need an emergency ambulance.We should describe conditions of patient like age , sex and the condition of injury.We should keep our telephone contact with doctor till the ambulance arrive.Before the ambulance arrive , we should give the patient first aid.We can remember the five letters :D R A B C.D means danger , so you should check poible dangers before the first aid start.You should never expose yourself to any danger.You have to make sure that no one else will get hurt.Or you will not be able to help others if you are also a casualty.R means response , you can shake the patient and ask “are you ok , are you all right ?” If ther is no response , you should start the next step.A means airway.You should check and open the airway of victim.You can clear and open the airway.B means breathing , you should look for the chest rising and falling.Or you can listen for the sound of breathing feel with your check.If no breathing is present in 5 seconds , you should give rescue breaths.Each rescue breath should be delivered in 1 second.And should produce visible chest rise.C means circulation , you have to check for severe bleeding and check for pulse.You can check pulse over the carotid artery.If the victim or patient have no breathing or no pulse after 2 rescue breaths , we should start CPR.We can pre compreion point , it is in the centre of the victim's chest , between two nipples.We should push hard , push fast at a rate of eighty per minute and depth of 4 to 5 centimetres.After two ventilation , you can make fifteen compreions , and you should do 5 or 6 cycles per minute until the ambulance arrive or the victim starts breathing normally.I hope everyone can help others in the future when you meet a patient lying on the ground if you can give a helping hand.Thank you for listening , goodbye!
