In 2007 a company called ThaiHealth, they created a road safety advertisement posters about fatigue driving.Today, We will introduce you this set of amazing posters.Traffic accident death mortality rate is becoming higher and higher each year.Fatigue driving is one of the most dangerous driving except for drinking and driving.Body:
A company called ThaiHealth, which is a public service company in Thailand, they created a set of posters in 2007, they named this set of posters Don’t Drive Sleepy Project.The full name of ThaiHealth is Thai Health Promotion Foundation, this is a state agency set up according to the Health Promotion Act 2001, now working with wide of multi-sectoral partners.ThaiHealth create this project because they're supporting for policies and action plans in province, through provincial road safety plans, integrated road safety projects at provincial level in 64 provinces.This project is mostly concentrate in four’s group of drivers including young drivers especially men, shift workers, long drives especially truckers and narcolepsy.They are the main colony, For example: between 16-29 young peoplewere the most likely to be involved in fall-asleep crashes.One reason, some of the young people who had driven when very tired on two or more recent driving trips.Another example: Truckers become fatigued because they need to drive for
miles and miles for hours and hours, day after day without taking a good sleep so they used limit exhaustion from long drives.ThaiHealth actually worked with one of the most famous graphic designer in Thailand, he is Suthisak Sucharittanonta, he is the chief creative officer of BBDO.BBDO is a worldwide advertising network Headquartered in New York City, now have over 300 branch in 83 different countries.the BBDO Suthisak working with is a branch in Thailand.Suthisak and ThaiHealth create this set of posters for commonweal, people drive when they are drowsy, they are not only putting themselves, their paengers and others at risk, but also will break down families.If our reaction time is just 1/2 second slower, at 40km/hour, you will go two car lengths further when you begin to see a child running in front you.That’s when you are awake, but we all know when you are sleepy, your reaction is even slower.Please be a responsible and drive safely is the mainly meage that poster want to provide.BBDO had been created 3 posters but they just want to highlight a one meage, “Driver fatigue is particularly dangerous while you are sleepy, and your brain will start to shut down.Your reaction will become slowly so it affect your judgement.Therefore it affects you, paengers and paerby, no matter how experienced a driver you are.”Here is the chart that compare with Fatigued drivers and other drivers.They used the image to be the main idea.Therefore the letter on the poster is small and attached in the bottom left.Although the letters are not the principal, they were used bolded

font and color black on the Sleepine word to highlight and match the image concept.In
beside, “is stronger than you” this is the sub-title so used grey color and thin letter to represent.In this set of posters, there are three eyes, they all look very tired and lackluster.The skin around the eyes have so many wrinkles, it’s easily to tell, that person don’t have a good rest for a long time, so the skin looks old and dry, dark circles are veryvisible.These three eyes are closing up, when your eye lids are getting closer to each other, that means the tragedy is also getting closer to you and your paengers.All of these three eyes are have a driving car on their upper lids.Let’s see the first poster there is a mother walking with a baby, the baby is in the baby carriage, the car on the upper lids still have a quite big space between.On the second poster, the eye is closing up more,on the bottom lid, there is a little kid, who is bicycling, now the car is getting closer to him already, and there is not that big space between the car and the kid.For the last poster, the eye is almost closed up, on the bottom lid a father is hanging out with his child, the car is driving into them.
