Being Strong For Our Glory
It‟s really a great honor for me to be here,giving such a speech entitled “Being Strong For Glory”.As a this year‟s graduate,I joined the TDC, which is the first profeional dredge mechanism with my dream,in July.Four months paed..And now, I‟m taking soundings for the 100-thousand-ton channel in Nangang.I always remember the slogan about the TDC‟s developing idea,‟EVERYONE CAN SHARE THE TDC‟S PROGRESS‟.Then in my first practice summary,I quoted a famous saying in „THE THREE MUSKETEERS‟.which is „ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL‟.I think it‟s really appropriate to interpret the relationship between the TDC and its every employee.I have to say, the survey work is not easy and the first month I spent in the project department seemed to be the most exhausted month in my life as so far.But whether here or there,in the project department or the construction site, no one has an easy job.So we must be strong enough.Managers will concern about the progre of the job, At the same time ,they must have a good communication with the ships.,so they will get on the ships every once in a while.The Chief engineer needs to solve kinds of technical difficulties in the work.He also needs to judge whether the survey results are acceptable as well as whether we need to accelerate the construction progre.Our secretary is responsible for our life and his work ,really makes us worry-free.Of course ,they are just a microcosm of all the staffs in our project department.Everyone is on his job and fulfills his function.Maybe there are not a lot of outstanding and amazing achievements.But we are all here for the same goal and doing our best to make sure that the project can get a quality,quantity and timely completion.Not only for ourselves,but also the TDC‟s glory, which is a 100-hundred-year-old enterprise.We do our work as a team.We live our lives like a family.We are becoming stronger than yesterday.We are fighting for the same target, whose name is glory.I‟d like to share a tatoo saying from my favorite player Allen Iverson , who never loses his heart., „ONLY THE STRONGE SURVIVE‟.It accompanies me to overcome the difficulties in my life.For individual, being strong means a healthy body, a positive attitude, being skilled and
having a „BIG‟ heart.And for our company, it represents advanced technology, perfect management, best people and a harmonlous and positive enterprise culture atmosphere.In the coming days, I hope we can, we all can keep on moving to be strong.To be a good family member, to be a good employee, to be a good workmate.We are not afraid of difficulties.We will be dare to face kinds of challenges.We want the glory!
So as I said „All For One, One For All‟.We all serve and inspire other through our good works.And what we do makes the TDC better and better,stronger and stronger, more and more influential.At the same time, the TDC provide us with a lot of opportunities for personal development more than a good salary.At last, I‟d like to say.Although there will be rocks and undercurrents, hardships and dangers in my life.A firm belief, inspiration from you and the spirit of the TDC will encourage me to hold the line.May all of us can become strong and meet your glory soon as well as our TDC will do.That‟s all.Thanks for your attention.
