What I cannot afford to lose
Good afternoon,ladies and gentlemen.Today I am going to talk about what I cannot afford to lose.Friendship is quite imporant.No one can sail the ocean of life single handed.A friend can change you life by being part of it;A friend can convince you just like there is an unlocked door waiting for you to open it;A friend can make you believe that there is sincere relationship in the word.This is permanent friendship.Therefore,what I cannot afford to lose is my friendship.Now,I’d like to share my story with you,I have an intimate friend who used to be my neighbor and we grew up together.We did everything together before I graduated from high school.After the college entrance examination,we were separated to pursue our dreams in different places.Owing to the distance and the preure of our study,we seldom keep in touch with each other.Sometimes I feel deserted.Distance is like a thief at night.Before we could do anything about it,it takes away all happine.As it fades away,I am depreed all day.I ofen lose myself into deep thought.She sent a meage to me “If one day you feel like crying—call me—I can’t promise that I will make you laugh,but I can cry with you.If one day you don’t want to listen to anyone—call me—I promise to be there for you and I promise to be a very quiet listener.But if one day you call me and there is no answer,come fast to see me,maybe I need you.”To tell the truth,I was fairly touched by this meage.What a great friendship.I cannot afford to lose the friendship with her who knows me so much.When I am down,and the world seems dark and empty,no one lifts me up in spirits and makes my gloomy world bright and full.How can I live on.It’s my friend who gets me through the hard times,the sad times,and the confused times.When I lose my way,It’s my friend who can guide me and cheer me up.whatever happened,my friend could hold my hand and tell me that everything is going to be OK.I’m really fortunate to enjoy the happy flower blooming from the bottom of my heart.
