Science and technology are a bleing as well as a curse
After the second industrial revolution, the development of science and technology becomes the sign of country’s power.And The late paramount leader deng xiaoping pronounced in the late 1988 that “science and technology are the primary productive force”.So is always a bleing for human to devote more efforts to developing science and technology?
Maybe it’s not true.Yeah, that science and technology bring us many comfort whether our daily life or our country.for example , telecommuting, which means some people work together by communicating on internet can save the cost of office space.it’s flexible that people can work anywhere they choose and also don’t need to worry about the rent of the office.In addition the development of smartphones is also a typical representative of the advantage that science and technology bring for us.A samrtphone can provide much service such as camera , surfing the internet, notebook and so on.All this functions can be used easily by preing some keys of a small smartphone.And for a whole country,science and technology make it poible for us to explore the universe and get more knowledge about our earth and other planets.So it’s obvious that science and technology are the ladder of progre of mankind.But there are also a large number of disadvantage that science and technology bring to us.Ever since 1870, when science and technology booming developed , the past one hundred years have witneed a huge pollution of our environment.The efficient mining of coal give our factories more energy as well as more air pollution.Air quality is getting worse, and more and more people die because of some disease caused by the polluted air.Our cars run faster with the exhaustion and pollution of resource.Many resource are non-renewable,such as water, coal and so an.Once they run out, it will never be produced and as a result ,we will lose the earth we live.and the le and le trees, more and more deserts, more and more sandstorm.And the le and le rare animals, more and more problems of ecological balance, more and more disease caused by animals.And the le and le fresh water, more and more people die because of lack of clean water, more and more fish die out because of the polluted ocean.That’ enough.When we develop science and technology ,at the same time ,we destroy our earth, it’s time to do something to improve the suitation.For example,to develop the clean energy.Yeah ,science and technology are a bleing as well as a curse.but i believe by using the clean energy we can find a balance between development of science and the protection of environment.
