What is Procrastination?

So what is procrastination? Basically, procrastination is the act of putting off eential task until a later time, most of the time non eential tasks are done in lieu of the more critical ones.Although this procrastination definition seems pretty simple the effects of procrastination are not.Procrastination may be one of the biggest challenges you will have to overcome.When you begin to think about today's society, there is le and le time in the day, so it is very important that we manage our time efficiently and limit procrastination as much as poible.Quiz time

If you always don’t want to get up early in the morning and go to bed at night.If most of your answer is YESthen congratulation You may be a procrastinator

Anyway i am a procrastinator

For instance,when sb gives me a aignment which i am not really interesting And the deadline is two weeks later.I will think that the time is sufficient.And then after a week,there are still plenty of time.And then time is still paing,oh few days only ,i will start soon.but still without action.untill the day before the deadline,i will be crazy,and have to work with great preure all night.The reason of procrastination.1DifficultThe task seems too hard to do,and i don’t know where should i begin 2Time-consumingOur free time is unavailable until the weekend.so many people pile their tasks up to weekends.3Lack of knowledge/skills Don’t want to make a mistake until you’re sure it’s right 4Fears

The the most primary five fears.The emotional aspect is also influencial.For sth unhappy events you are feeling frustrated,or etc.you don’t want do anythings,so that you procrastinate.Effects of procrastination

Although the short-term effects of procrastination might seem to be “positive” becuase you can finish your work within very short time.it seems very effiecient.Butthe long-term effects are almost always negative.1Stre and anxiety it’s harmful for your health

2Impeding(stop)your ability to achieve your goal.If you form the habbit to procrastinate The habbis will

3The quality of your work may sufffer You must find that your work is not as good as you do it on schedual.4Affect your life ourside your work.You can not relax well if you leave sth unfinished.Overcome ityou should realize yourself are procrastinating.it's no need to hesitated any more 2write down the reason why you will procrastinate piece by piece

Think back to a time when you felt a great deal of preure.Recall the circumstances around the incident and remember how you felt.4take action

Do this for yourself, and know that you can avoid procrastination and still have time to enjoy doing the things you want to do.Getting a better handle your time management and self management skills is getting a better handle on your life.If time is one of the most important things we have, you should try very hard not to waste it!

What makes you most happy is to be able to do what you wanted to do.
