敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们, 大家早上好!Dear teachers and students,good morning!今天我国旗下演讲的主题是“珍爱生命，预防溺水”。Today our topic is about how to prevent drowing.炎热的夏天即将到来，很多同学都喜欢到各种水域游泳，而正是因为这样所以夏季成为了溺水事故多发的季节。溺水是游泳或掉入水坑、河塘等的一种意外事故。在溺水者当中，有不会游泳的，也有一些会游泳甚至是水性好的人。据统计，我国平均每天有近150名儿童因意外伤害而失去生命。而每10个因意外伤害死亡的儿童中，就有近6个是因为溺水身亡的，溺水死亡已成为导致中小学生意外死亡的“头号杀手”。
Hot summer is coming.Beacause many students like to swim,there are many accidents like drowing happen in summer.Drowing is falling into the water that you cannot get out.people who cannot swim usually fall into water.even swimmers died in water.According statistics,150 chidren died beacaus of accidents everyday in our country.And sixty percent of children got into drowing death.Drowning death has become “number one killer” accidental [æksɪ'dent(ə)l] death of primary and middle school students.为增强同学们的安全意识，提高大家的自护自救能力，杜绝溺水事件的发生。我向同学们提出以下要求，希望同学们严格遵守：
I raise three claims to you to improve your safety consciousne ['kɒnʃəsnɪs].Also,these advice can teach you how to save yourselves.hope you can abide by these.1.树立安全意识，加强自我保护，从我做起，严守学校纪律，不论是上放学途中，还是假期在家都坚决不私自结伴下水游泳。
First,eastablish savety counsciousne.Strengthen self protection.Obey the school rules.Do not swim by yourself at anytime.2.乘坐船时必须要坐好，不在船上乱跑，不在船舷边洗手、洗脚。
Secoundly,do not run when you are boating.And anyway,remember not to wash hands or feet.3.在家长带领下游泳前要做适当的准备活动，以防抽筋。Then,when you want to swim ,you should ask your panrents to go with you and do a good preparing.4.发现有同学私自游泳或到危险的地方玩耍，要坚决抵制并劝阻。
Next,if someone like your clamates plan to swim in a dangerous place,you should tell him that it perhaps bring your life.5.万一不慎滑落水中，应放松全身，吸足气，应让身体飘浮在水面上，将头部浮出水面，用手拍打水，用脚踢水，在保证体力的情况下大声地呼救。如果同伴发生溺水，切莫贸然下水营救，应大声呼救，可以将救生圈、竹竿、树枝、绳索、草藤、皮带、木板等物品抛给溺水者，再将其拖至岸边。
Finally,be relaxed and breath when you fall into water.It can makes you float in the water.And flap water by your hands and feet.Shouting for help if you are not weak.Do not save people who are drowing without thinking twice.The best way is throwing a bouy or rope,and then pull him back.同学们，“安全无小事,生命价更高”, 生命是宝贵的，生命高于一切，只要我们珍爱生命，预防溺水，远离诱惑，远离危险地带，就一定能防患于未然，我们的每一天就一定能平平安安，快快乐乐！
