Honorable judges, dear teachers, and my fellow students, good afternoon!It’s my great honor to stand here and share with you my speech “Harmony begins at campus”.At the threshold of the 21st century, it cannot be denied that China has risen as one of the most powerful nations in the world.Meanwhile, people's desire for a better life is becoming stronger than ever.Then, which word can best answer the call of Chinese people in this great period? My dear teachers and fellow students, still fresh in our memory is the spectacular opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games when thousands of ancient Chinese warriors simultaneously put up one Chinese character.Yes, harmony sounds as the strong rhythm of the time.Then, why does harmony begin at campus? My dear friends, we are so lucky to be here and study in this beautiful college after years of hard work.But, college is more than a place to study scientific knowledge.Most significantly, it is a transition period from a student to a real adult, or, from a boy to a man.Only when we have learnt the spirit of harmony at campus as students can we help to build a harmonious society when we graduate as army commanders years later.Though I haven’t been in college for long, I have learnt that harmony at campus means harmony with teachers, fellow students and with nature.Great honor to my dear teachers who treat us like their own brothers and sisters.They always give me a warm hand when I'm down.With their efforts, I'm becoming stronger and knowledgeable.My friends, it is our miion and duty to create a harmonious environment for all of us to grow healthily and happily in this college.And it won’t be hard to achieve this.Harmony begins at campus and starts with details.Just an encouraging smile and a helpful hand to our fellow students.Keep a good relationship with people around us and maintain a good attitude of tolerance towards the others.Make the garden-like campus full of fresh air and joyful laughter with our efforts.Let's enjoy our college life everyday , my dear friends, and under this conviction: One for all, all for one!I love my team, it's an excellent one!
