Before I talk something about this movie.One thing I want to say is that I think the Chinese name of this nice movie is far from
satisfactory.Personally ,when I saw this name ,I didn’t think it would be a good movie.I just hope it can have a nicer Chinese name.After I enjoyed it ,anyway, I like it very much.It is a story happened between a 12-year-old girl and a hit man.The girl called Mathilda had a father ,a step mother ,a step sister and little half brother.She liked watching cartoon but she couldn’t.Because her sister liked watching programs about body-building.Everytime she watched cartoons ,her sister would get angry and hit her.She lived a sad and hopele life without love.One day a group of men killed her whole family ,even her 4-year-old little brother.She servived because she was out shopping for the family at that time.She did not care that much if her parents and sister were killed.She sole wanted to have her little brother around.He was only four years old and did nothing wrong.By chance ,she knew the cool man lived next to her family was a hit man.She asked the man to teach her how to be a killer.With the girl’s efforts ,the man named Leon agreed.With time paing by ,the young girl told Leon she loved him.Leon was very surprised.He could not accept the girl’s love.He told a sad love story to the girl, a story why he became a killer.But Leon did not find
that his life without hope was changing by the girl.And there was a feeling different from friendship in them.Finally,Leno helped the girl kill the men who killed her family but himself was also died.I can’t forget the first time I saw Mathilda.A nice young girl sat in the stairs,red and blue on her face.She asked Leon “ Is life always this hard, or is it just when you're a kid?”When I were of her age ,I never thought these things.All I thought was playing with my best
friends.However,Mathilda ,only 12-year –old ,with no friends was
thinking about life.A rough life makes one grow up in mind.She loved Leon because he was nice to her.I can remember clearly the beginning of the film was that Leon was doing his job.He was cool and calm all the time.He said “no women ,no kids.”He killed persons for money but he never killed women or kids.I show my respect for him.When the girl said “Leon ,how cool ,you are a cleaner.”,Leon thought nothing of it.As a hit man ,he lived a preful life also without love and friends.He regarded the plant he kept as his best friend.He thought it was quiet all the time and needed little care.He loved the plant so much that even when in danger he did not gave it up.Maybe many of you think it is ridiculous for a killer to keep a plant.But I don’t think so.The plant is full of life and reminds one of hope.Leon ,as a hit man ,lived a hard life.What was more ,there seemed
no hope of his life.But there was light deep in Leon’s heart.If there was not, he would not save Mathilda,protect her and even die for her.In the end of the film ,when Mathilda kept Leon’s plant in the earth,I think it means a new beginning of her life ,a life full of hope and light just like the green plant.
