Good morning ,boys and girls.It is my great honour to be here to talk something what i think about conquering nature.Here is my PPT presentation.At the first ,I want to show you the achievements of human conquer nature.Ever since the known ages of mankind, men have been trying to conquer nature.We invented fire and tools, developed systems and society.Climbing the Everest which is the highest mountain in the world;traveling to the Antarctica(南极),or having a trip on the moon.The Great Wall and the Pyramids also indicate the huge power of humans.Men's ambition of conquering has never and will never end.When one man becomes strong he wants to rule the village, when one village becomes strong it attempts to rule the nation;when one nation becomes strong it tries to control the world.But can human conquer nature ?Obviously,the answer is no.Conquering is men's nature, but nature is not to be conquered.Mother nature has been pampering us mankind, she has been kind and generous, loving and guiding.But it doesnot mean our mother nature have no temper.As the saying goes: " The victory human claimed to nature, is the beginning of its punishment.”Considering the Tsunami, the earthquake, the hurricane, the typhoon,and asking ourselves :“when we face those ,what can we do ?”Yes ,our society is developed ,our technology is advanced.But history tell us that what we can do is only hide and run.Since mankind men have been fighting, for better living, and better lives.We should learn to fight with the nature, instead of fighting against it.If Mother nature reaches her desperation to her children, the only thing left for human will be extermination.Please do remember that treat human nature, is treating its own.
