Do you agree or disagree with the following statement, It is better for colleagues or clamates to communicate in person than through emails.Thanks to the communication technology that has been rising in an incredible speed, an entire online web information system is on mankind’s finger tips.It was revolutionary.However,I strongly insist that colleagues and clamates should find every poible ways to communicate in person.First and foremost, personal face-to-face communication unravels details and minimizes misunderstanding.In some cases things between colleagues and clamates can be extremely clustered and profeional which requiresthoroughly analysis and discuion.This may create communication barriers and loom conflicts if it is not properly handled.For example, when I try to explain things concerning calculation details of absorption costing to my clamate, it will be unnecearily troubled and slow with typing and drawing in email,whereas situation will be completely different if we do this in person.Second of all, close interpersonal conversation fosters intimate relationships.Man as social being is like gears of mechanisms requiring collaboration and understanding.Most of our life-lasting relationships are formed with people living beside us day by day.Interpersonal communications plays an indispensable role in helping people getting close and forming emotional bond.Conversely, it’s relatively harder to be familiar with a person on the other side of the screen.A research from China Daily reveals a brutal truth thatpeople work at home for longsuffer from inevitable chronic depreion and loneline, with a strong sense of solitude and detaching from society.Truth tells us we all need intimate attachment and communication in person.Shortcomings aside, email indeed brings convenience to life.Distances are shortened and documents are shared, this would never be achieved without email.However, we still have other approaches to communicate intimately to the largest extent.For example, there is mobile phones and chatting softwarewhich mostly contains document transfer functions.Radio, signals were sent and received wirelely, though the contents of these transmiions were not nearly as limited.Audio, video, images and text were all capable of transmiion.By this means one can totally figure out how to do much more effective and detailed communication.To summarize, communication is about distance.When the distance is shorter, the poibility of misunderstanding and unacceptance is le.So I hold firmly that between colleagues and clamates, communication in person can effectively reduce the chance of faults and make our efforts properly allocate to the largest extent.
