No Pains, No gains
An old saying “No Pains, No gains.” reminds us that if people want to be succeful and outstanding, they must make their own efforts to overcome all the poible difficulties.For example, the Chinese athletes’ excellent performance in 2004 Olympic Games in Athens is definitely the result of their hard training.If they didn’t work hard, even those with the best talents,can’t compare with others and win the championship in games.Another case in point is my own learning experience.I was not good at English when I started learning it.Sometimes the result of the exam was so diatisfactory that I almost gave up.It was the old saying: “No Pains, No gains.” that brought back my confidence.Since then, I took every chance to practise my English.Now I have made great progre and English became my favourite subject.
