The Spring Festival
The Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.Several days before it,people are busy shopping and cleaning.On the Eve,the whole family usually get together to have a wonderful meal and wish good luck to one another.On the New Year’s Day people always get up early and wear new clothes.Everyone looks happy.In the daytime,there are all kinds of activities,such as visiting friends and relatives,going to parks and temples.Now people in China are living a happy life and their Spring Festival is becoming more and more interesting.An Unforgettable Accident
It was a rainy and windy morning.I was on my way to school.A little school boy came out of a house and slammed the door.He walked hurriedly along.When he paed me ,I heard him reciting the multiplication tables.He didn’t look around before croing the street.I shouted at him to stop.But it was too late.The car ran straight towards him.He was knocked down.I ran towards the boy,crying for help.But the driver of the car
continues his journey,without a further look at the dying boy.The police arrived and began to investigate.I had witneed the accident,but did not have a look at the licensed number of the car.So they let me off to cla.Though many years have paed,it has remained in my memory.
