When it comes to purity of human beings, we may think of friendship and love between men and women.Love can be pure because thousands of facts have proved that men can keep pure love without wicked intentions with women.However, friendship is different, and how we do not let it change into other relations is a difficult matter.Yet in my heart, I still believe that there is pure friendship between men and women.Purity mainly lies in mind and spirit, not just shows physically and physiologically, so attitude can decide anything.When both of the two heterosexual friends can be aware of this point and want to be friends forever, they perhaps will try their best to keep this kind of pure relationship in mind for good.They can be friends by keeping in contact through telephone calls, by talking about their common interests, daily chores or problems, and also by telling whatever is funny or special.In this case, they just regard the other as an intimate friend and there cannot be any other impure thoughts between each other.But once one of them has other intentions except becoming friends and breaks the line, the friendship may be rejected by the other immediately.Therefore, we can see if people’s hearts tend to be pure, their attitudes will go onto a pure line in friendship.In addition, there is a kind of friendship called “confidantes” or “blue yan bosom friends”.The former refers to the males who have good female friends but not their wives;the latter is about the females who want male friends but not their husbands.The two friends both have their own lovers or marriage;however, in fact they are true friends.They just want to make their lives more colorful with all kinds of personal relationship so that when they are in different moods, they can resort to any person in these relations to release their feelings or ask different advice.Thus, the pure friendship between males and females can exist in this way.And what’s more, today in most women’s eyes, they prefer to believe there is pure friendship between men and women.As we all know, men are born differently in mind and physiology from women.Men are usually more intellectual, more efficient, stronger, braver than women, so if females make friends with males, girl students can get study help in difficult maths or physics problems from boy students, and women workers can do relatively le jobs when working with efficient male workers along, and they can also get immediate help from strong and brave men in an emergency.Thus, since there are so many benefits women can attain from their men friends, undoubtedly they are willing to make friends with the opposite-sex ones.Moreover, no matter how unwilling or wicked the male friends are, only if women themselves know how to keep the friendship and protect themselves can the pure relationship be held onto steadily without being broken easily.In conclusion, the pure friendship between men and women does exist on condition that they both have pure minds and treasure friendship in a part of their life, and women take charge of the friendship.Therefore, the argument that no pure friendship is between men and women can be denied definitely.We should change our mind and try to make opposite-sex friends as many as poible.
