《My favorite season》的说课稿

Good morning.ladies and gentlemen!I am very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas.Today ,my topic is 《My favorite season》.I will prepare to say the leon from six parts: Analysis of teaching material,teaching aims, key points, difficult points, teaching method, teaching procedures, blackboard.Part1.Analyzing Teaching Material It includes two parts, such as, status and functions, analysis of students.1.Status and function

This leon is from PEP primary English, Book 5.It plays an important part role in this unit.In this leon, I will finish „Let‟s start, Let‟s chant and Let‟s Learn.There are a lot of interesting pictures.For this, the kids will be interested in the book.From this leon, students can attain four skills: request of listening, speaking, reading, writing and enlarge their vocabularies.And the most important feature is that it provides the students with opportunities to use target language to achieve communication goal.2.Analysis of students

The students have learned English about three years so far.They have a few vocabularies and can understand some new words and difficult sentences.In this period, students have taken a great interest in English.And in the last term the students have learned the sentence structure “what‟s your favorite food?”这为本节课 的学习奠定了一定的基础。

Part2.Teaching aims On the basis of primary school English curriculum requirements and student‟s character.I established three aims:knowledge aims, ability aims and aims on emotion.(一)Knowledge aims 1.By learning this leon, I can help students master how to expre each season.2.Let students grasp how to talk about their favorite season and give reasons.(二)Ability aims 1.To improve student‟s listening, speaking, reading, writing abilities.2.Let students can read and write these four sentences:(1)“—Which season do you like best? Spring.”

(2)“—Why do you like spring? Because I can plant trees.” Make sure that students can use these sentences in real situation.3.To foster student‟s abilities of communication and innovation.If I have enough time, I will ask them to talk about their other favorite things, such as, color, city, food etc.(三)Aims on Emotions 1.To train the student‟s ability of working in groups and cultivate student‟s interests.2.To enhance student‟s awarene of environmental protection.3.It can enable the students to love life.Part 3

Key point and difficult point 本着新课程标准,在熟悉教材的基础上,我确定了以下教学重点和难点:

1.The vocabularies: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.Because it is a new leon, the cla should focus on guiding the students understand and master the sentences structure: Which season do you like best? Why do you like…? 2.How to answer the question: Why do you like…?

Part 4 Teaching method As we all know, the main aim of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupil‟s abilities of listening, speaking and their good sense of the English language.I mainly use “Task-based” teaching method.While dealing this leon, I use following ideas: English cla should be a student-center cla.That is to say, make students are real master in cla while the teacher himself act as a director.I will let the students finish the task by role-playing and pair work.Part 5 Teaching procedures and purpose of my designing I will divide my leon into 6 steps.Step1.Warming up(3minutes)(1)Having a free talk with students and talking about the weather.(2)Review the words describe the weather(such as: windy, sunny, hot, cool and cold)Purpose: It can provides a situation to review have learned knowledge for the next studying.Reminding students of what they have already learned.Step2.Lead-in(5minutes)(1)Using PPT to show some pictures about season and activities for students.(2)Asking students some questions, such as “Can you tell me something you have saw in the pictures?”

Purpose:(1)Showing PPT will offer students a relaxing atmosphere and stimulate student‟s interests in English learning.(2)The students can be interested in it and pay their attention to our cla easily and improve the ability of speaking.Step3.Teaching new leon(20minutes)(1)Review the what sentences:What‟s your favorite food?(2)Teaching the students read the new words about season

Present the pattern: Which season do you like best? Spring

Why do you like spring? Because I can plant trees.(3)Explain the each sentences in dialogue and Lead the students to read the sentences together.Make sure they can say it correctly(3)Playing a role game.Divide the whole cla into some groups to practice the dialogue Purpose: To present the key structures one by one is much easier for the students to learn and grasp the meanings.Step4.Pair work(10minutes)Let the students to make new conversation with their partners about their favorite season and give the reason.As they are talking, I will moves around the claroom to check their work and offer language aistance as they need.Purpose: Help the students to grasp the key structure of dialogue.Step5.Review the sentence structure(5minutes)Purpose: To check the knowledge that students have learned in this cla.Step6.Homework(2minutes)In order to strength the student‟s new language, I will let the students do these homework:(1)Remember the new words.(2)Describe their favorite season in few words.Part6 Blackboard design I will write the new words on the left, on the right, I write the target language and the key sentences.By this, let students understand the key points and difficult points well.
