The computer is a useful machine.I can not only help us work, but also offer us all kinds of games.But if we spend too much time sitting in front of the computer, our eyes will become worse and worse.We may even forget how to read and write.I think we are the owners of computers,and we must also be the owners of ourselves.It is

important to know when to use computers.That means to control computers but not to be controlled by computers.About TV Ads Today more and more advertisements are seen on the TV screen.It’s difficult to find a program without insertion of ads on TV.Food, clothes--everything you can think of--are presented on television.Occasionally, we can also see some public welfare ads, appealing to people to respect the old or to protect the environment.As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative.But there is no denying that some of them are tedious and not trustworthy.Therefore, I think it is really high time that the TV stations strengthened the control of of advertisements and made them more attractive.Changes in My Life There have been many changes in my life.With the development of the economy my life is better off.For the clothing I have spare money to buy sorts of pretty clothes.But in the past there were fewer clothes in my wardrobe.For the food I usually had traditional Chinese food for every meal rice noodles or streamed ban with one or two light dishes even preserved pickles.Nowadays I can afford any delicious food including western foods.For the housing I have moved from a cramped and gloomy room to a big and bright flat.For the getting around I rode an old bike on my way to work a year ago.At present I drive my private car to travel.I believe my life will be better and better in the future.The Way to Succe As a famous saying goes,there's no such thing as a free lunch.There's no one but longs to succeed,but it's not easy to get succe.Iniatially,you should have an active attitude.Even we can say,everything depends on attitude.If we have a right attitude,we will get half of succe at the beginning.So,we cannot emphasize attitude too much.What's more,practice is another important aspect to succe.Easier said than done,so we must put into practice in the course of learning.Last but by no means the last,a firm resolution plays an eencial role in getting succe.All resistance will be conquered by a firm resolution.Man,once his goal is set,should not shift himself from his resolution of struggling for it.As far as I'm concerned,succe always belongs to those who are ready to get it.English has been getting more and more popular in the last decade.Many countries have made English taught as the second language in schools.But why do students need English? If they do need, what do they need it for?

Why Do Students Learn English Different students learn English for different purposes.Most of the students learn English because they need to read English textbooks or journals and attend English lectures, while a few students use it to talk to English-speaking visitors, attend seminars, or write letters and reports.Whatever the purposes are, one thing is certain: Students need English, and English teaching should be strengthened in universities.However, the current teaching methods should be improved and the teaching materials should be updated to satisfy their needs.Interest Is the Best Teacher I was not able to get high marks when I was in primary school.Teachers didn‘t like me because I was not a good student.Mother considered me as a bad kid.They hurt me by thinking I am a retarded child.But I am no fool.Almost all of my paintings were showed in public.Many famous artists had praised me for my paintings.They called me “little prodigy”.And dad was on my side too.He encouraged me to do what I liked and what I thought was proper.He told me that interest is the best teacher, Dad did what he could to develop my talent fully.I believe that interest together with hard work will make me a succeful artist in the near future.Money Is Not Everything Everybody wants to get wealth.In today’s material world, making money or becoming wealthy symbolizes a person’s succe and capability.Many people just make every effort, pay any price to attain greater wealth.With money, they can buy nice, large apartments in nice neighborhood.with money they can own luxurious cars.Wealth seems to bring all happine in life.But is wealth the only road to happine? Not really.There are many things in the world, which are beyond the means of money, such as friendship, love, health and knowledge.People are so preoccupied with struggling for money that they have no time or would not take the time to form or maintain friendship.What happine can they feel living as lonely miserable creatures without love or friends in the world even if they accumulate tremendous wealth? In my opinion, people can’t do anything without money, but money is not everything.What money will bring you depends on your personal belief and goal in life.If you are kind enough to help others, especially the poor, money is a good thing to you.With it, you can do much more for the benefit of people and your country, and it will add to your own happine.If you want money just for your own needs, you’ll never be satisfied or happy.In a word, you should have money spent for more people.Only then can money be the source of your happine.
