The tennis team of Renmin University of China was previous the tennis aociation organized by a dozen of students in 2003.From 2003 to 2007, we won the second and sixth prize in Group A Female, and sixth prize in Group A Male in the Beijing University Tennis Tournament.All the members started from basele university students.From 2010, the university started to recruit sports specialties in tennis.In the latest two years, we won champions in Male Group, Male Single, Male Doubles, Female Group and Female Single in Group A.We won other rewards respectively in Group B and Group C.人大网球队的前身是网球协会，2003年非典时期由十多个学生组成的一个网球团体，在2003年至07年间，曾获得北京高校女子甲组单打第二名，第六名，男子甲组团体第六名的成绩，所有会员均是从零起步的本科学生。
学校开始招收网球特长生是从2010年，短短的两年时间，就获得北京高校男子甲组团体，单打，双打冠军。女子甲组团体，单打冠军。男子乙组双打冠军等。并在全国大学生网球比赛中获得男子丙组单打亚军，男子甲组单打第三名等等。
