1.wake up醒过来
get up起床
eg:(1)Hey, wake up!It’s late.快点起来了，要迟到了。
(2)I wake up at six o’clock, but get up at seven o’clock.我六点醒过来，七点起床。
2.turn on=switch on开
turn off=switch off关
eg:(1)Please turn on the light.It’s too dark here.这里好暗，请打开灯。
(2)Please turn off the light when you leave the claroom.请你离开教室时关灯。
3.at the moment=now现在eg: He is listening to music at the moment.他正在听音乐。
4.表时间的几个介词：at表示具体多少点；on表示具体某一天；in表示具体某一年；for表示一段时间。
eg:(1)The cla begins at eight o’clock.我们八点钟上课。(2)We will be back on Monday.我们星期一回来。(3)She was born in 1996.她出生于1996年。
(4)We’ve been in this school for two years.我们来这学校已经两年了。
5.all night 整晚
all day 整天
eg:(1)He never watches TV all night.他从来不会通宵看电视。
(2)We are busy with our homework all day.我们一整天都在忙着做作业。
6.can’t do sth without sth 没有…就不能…
eg: We can’t make progre without hard work.不努力学习，就不会取得进步。
7.go off（闹钟等）发出声音
eg: I get up as soon as my alarm clock goes off.闹钟一响，我就起床了。
8.It takes sb time to do sth 某人花费时间去做某事
eg:(1)It takes me two hours to finish my homework.我花了两个小时才做完作业。
sb spend time on sth 某人花费时间做某事
sb spend time(in)doing sth某人花费时间做某事 eg:(1)I spend two hours on my homework.(2)I spend two hours(in)doing my homework.9.the first/last one to do sth第一个/最后一个做什么
eg:(1)He is the first one to finish the job.他是第一个完成工作的人。
(2)You are the last one to leave the claroom.你是最后一个离开教室的人。
10.take up占据（时间、空间）
eg:(1)The homework takes up too much of my time.=My time is taken up with homework.做作业占了我太多的时间。(2)This table takes up too much room.这张桌子占了太多空间。11.be filled with 充满着
eg:(1)The room is filled with people.房间里塞满了人。（2）Her eyes are filled with tears.她的眼里满是泪水。
12.so that 可以引导目的状语从句，表示“以便”；另外，其也可以引导结果状语从句，表示“以致于” eg:
（1）引导目的状语从句：He gets up early so that he can catch the early bus.他早早起床，以便能搭上早班车。
（2）引导结果状语从句：She is too young so that she can’t go to school.=She is so young that she can’t go to school.她太小了，还不能去上学。

(2)He complains to the teacher about too much homework.他向老师抱怨作业太多了。

14.bored 感到厌烦的（修饰人）短语：be/get bored with对…感到厌烦 boring令人厌烦的（修饰物）eg: I get bored with the boring book.同样地：
excited感到兴奋的(修饰人)短语：be excited about对...感到兴奋 eg: I am excited about the exciting movie.relaxed感到轻松的（修饰人）relaxing令人轻松的（修饰物）
eg: I feel relaxed when I watch the relaxing film.15.suppose 猜想，认为(1)suppose that 认为
eg: I suppose that he will come.我认为他会来。
I don’t suppose that he will come.我认为他不会来。
(2)
suppose sb/sth to be sth认为某人/某事
eg: I suppose him to be a student.我认为他是个学生。
(3)be supposed to do sth应该做某事
be not supposed to do sth不应该做某事
eg:(1)We are supposed to work hard.我们应该努力学习。
