[摘要]随着全球一体化的快速推进，世界各国在经济、政治、文化、军事等领域中的交流愈来愈频繁，并全面带动了这些领域的迅速发展。与中国文学相比，大多数人对英美文学的认知还相对薄弱，对英美文学的文化底蕴与内涵理解也相对较少。基于此，本文拟从英美文学的基本特征与功能出发，分析英美文学的人文主义价值、理性主义价值以及黑色幽默价值，探讨英美文学的现实意义，旨在为英美文学的相关研究提供有价值的参考与借鉴。
