Dear parents,It has been several years now since I wrote you a letter last time.Being the age of twenty, I've learned not to take for granted about all the things I've been bleed with.It was you——my beloved Dad and Mom.Not long before I read an author of the book Pursuit of Happine said his mother told him that the most beautiful words in this world are please and thank you, which reminded me of how much you've told me about the meaning of having faith in I myself.It was the first time I tried to convince myself to take part in an English Speech Contest at school after not being quite self-confident since my fail in the last piano level test.When I consult you for advices, you encouraged me to grasp the opportunity and prove to myself that I can do it.Although I was very much nervous during the proce of the contest, I won the third prize and the best pronunciation prize and most importantly, I gained fulfilled feelings of succe and self-confident.If you had never nudged me, I would never have such an accomplishment which I might never ever dreamt about.At the age of twenty, all the bygone years seemed to have taught me one single truth that you've always tried to immerse me with——to be strong and awe-inspiring/marvelous, in the face of grace/angel or devil.I know that thank you can never be a vivid word to expre my
overflowing gratitude for you both, but I still wanted to say that you are the best thing ever happened to me in my life.Thank you for taking care of me so delicately for the paed twenty years;thank you for making me laugh when I was down and feeling lost;thank you for being you, my greatest parents.There is one last thing I want to ask you to do for me.Please promise me that you love yourselves as much as you've loved me.Whenever you need me, I'll be your side to share your burden.Love you always,Your daughter :)
