How should we treat the tobacco industry and tobacco consumption
Because of the large quantity of cigarette consumption and it’s high tax, the tobacco industry has occupied an important position in the economy of our country, and has created huge tax revenue for our government.With it’s development, it has brought more and more harm and increasingly risk to people’s bodies and health, which has been demonstrated by the increasingly incident rate of lung cancer in these years.However, it’s impoible to ban tobacco consumption altogether, as smoking is addictive and has become a habit and a way of communication to many people.So some actual measures should be carried out to reduce the harm of smoking on the people’s health, on one hand, the tax rate of tobacco industry should be further enhance to suppre the development of it, as the consumption is rising continuously, on the other hand, the government should strengthen the control to reduce the content of nicotine in cigarettes, as nicotine is quite addictive and carcinogenic.Besides, we should strengthen advertising of the harms of smoking to educate teenagers from smoking.lastly, our government should also strengthen promotion of the products of quitting smoking to make smoker to quit smoking early.Only in this way, can we ensure that the harm of smoking on people’s health will reduce continuously.
