On Views of Filial Piety Culture in Chinese and Western Culture by analysing the relationship between father and son
Abstract:By analysing the relationship between father and son,the paper draws a conclusion that there is a prominent difference between Chinese and Western filial piety cultures.Through the American novel the horseman in the sky, the paper shows Western filial piety more reflected in respect among the relationship.In contrast,Chinese filial piety culture has developed greatly with a wide coverage.The differences result from cultural differences.The study is of realistic and significant implications in cro-cultural communication.Key words: father and son;filial piety culture;cultural difference;
