Protect the Environment, Protect Ourselves
Good afternoon,everyone!
It is my honor to stand hear to make the speech.The topic of my speech is “Protect the Environment,Protect Ourselves”.Our earth used to be very beautiful.There were clean and long rivers,broad forests,fresh air and heathy foods.We can see many trees around us.We can swim in the river or the lake near our house.Birds will sing every morning.People never need to worry about pollution.They never think about preventing others from destroying environment.Life is so cozy.However,many problems are mushrooming now.Things have changed.There are all kinds of pollutions,such as air pollution,noise pollution,waste pollution and water pollution.Our
environment has change her face.Thus,we will not live a happy and healthy life.It is high time for us to take action to protect our environment now!
Firstly,limitations should be set which is for cars to be driven out.Government should forbid the factories to discharge smoke and dust before purifying.Secondly,people should be encouraged to use clean fuels.We shouldn't throw rubbish in parks and cities.We can pick up rubbish if we see it.We can put more rubbish bins in parks and cities.Thirdly,government should spend more money on research institutions which are trying to find out new ways to decrease pollution.We must learn about that protecting environment is everyone’s responsibility.Every people should do something which maybe a little thing,because only by trying to protect our environment together,can we make our homeland better.We can never live a happy life if the environment is bad.So,protect the environment,protect ourselves.
