Wuthering Heights The story was written by Emily Bronte, who was one of the most famous writers in the English novel history of nearly 300 years.Born in a poor family, Emily Bronte led a tough life.Though his father graduated from Cambridge, he just was a priest of a poor country in the north England.And his mother paed away early.Even in such an environment, Emily read and studied with her brothers and sisters.She loved to make up some strange story, living in her fantasy world, which made up by herself.When she was a child, she loved writing poems, and Wuthering Heights was her one and only novel.And Emily was one of The Family Bronte.Her sister was Charlotte Bronte, the author of Jane Eyre.Wuthering Heights centers around the story of Heathcliff.Heathcliff was a orphan, and he was adopted by a warm-hearted man Mr.Earnshaw, who was Catherine and Hindley’s father.Mr.Earnshaw found him being abandoned on the streets, and Mr.Earnshaw brought Heathcliff home.After that, Heathcliff began his new life to live with Catherine and Hindley.Catherine loved Heathcliff, and Heathcliff loved Catherine, too.But her brother Hindley disliked him.So after Mr.Earnshaw died.Hindley became the host of the family.He asked Heathcliff to do the hard and dirty work, treating him as a servant.At that time Heathcliff led a tough life.And a man called Edgar Linton who was born in a rich family fell in love with Catherine.Edgar Linton usually came to see Catherine, and they could see each other in their eyes, although Catherine was still closing with Heathcliff.Finally Catherine married to Linton, and Heathcliff left their home.A few years later,Heathcliff came back with a large fortune.But he just came back to revenge.He made a revenge plan to revenge on Hindley and Linton.And Hindley broke for gambling.Catherine died after having gave birth to her baby.It seemed Heathcliff had realized his revenge, but he finally died of sad.After reading the story, I felt very sad about what Heathcliff had come acro.He was not born in a rich family, so he had to fight for what he wanted.I supposed that Heathcliff was a warm-hearted man.In his deep heart, he was eager for friendship, love, being
cared.But the insult of Hindley and the betraying of Catherine made him drive by hatred.Though he came back to revenge, he still loved Catherine.And I thought Catherine did not know what true love is.And she was too focusing on money.She wanted to get a higher position in the society so that she could help Heathcliff.I thought true love should not base on money.It should be purity.Anyway, it is a sad love story, we should learn a leon from it, love has a strong power, it can change one person, and also it can destroy a person.So try to Learn reasonably love, which will benefits your whole life.
