UV 1084 price soars as Nickel price increasesPrice of UV 1084 soars due to rapidly increasing price of its raw material.Nickel diacetate is the raw material whose price is increasing rapidly especially in recent time.This is due to increasing price of Nickel.Since beginning of 2014,price of it started to increase.Increasing percentage is almost 50% in this year.You can find the price increase graph for nickel from London Metal Exchange(LME)below.There are several reasons to explain the increase.In Jan of 2014,Indonesia's ban on exporting unproceed minerals took effect.Indonesia is the larget export country of Nickel.Market is also worrying that there will be sanction for Ruia which is the second largest export for Nickel ,due to its conflict with Ukraine.What is worse,Nickel factory of Vale SA stopped production recently.So increasing price of nickel brings the price of UV 1084 to increase
accordingly.Increasing rate would be 10-15% probably.
