students have to do much more practice to appeal to their parents' as well as their teachers' expectations.On the other hand, parents and teachers, due to their daily growing hope to the students, have been becoming more and more care about the students' grades.For the student like me who opt to study hard to do better preparations for my own future, however, it is extremely hard to accept the reality that as if I am working for others and I even doubt that whether my hard work will pay off and give myself as well as people who has high
expectations on me a satisfactory answer, besides, this question always makes me upset and I don't like this kind of feeling.If taken seriously, the problems with the current education system can boil down to three.One comes from more and more fierce competitions between students.Another arises from the fact that most students are the only child in their family and they are their parents' only hope, so it's common that the parents will give them much preure by telling them that high marks are the most important thing and they can't work more hard to do better in every exam.And worst of all, schools also put so much preure onto teachers and there is little dispute that teachers will transmit these preure to their poor students which will make students think that the only way they could jump off the uncomfortable situation is performing better in their examinations, so they just care about how to pa these exams with higher marks and they may even not sure about what they can achieve from these difficult knowledges.According to these factors, the reasons for why exam-oriented education is bad and the disadvantages of exam-oriented are obvious.In the response to the problems above, there needs to call for more and more attention to quality-oriented education because the purpose of education is to let students know more about how to live a better life by their own hand and teach them how to put their knowledge into practice.The students should know that they can't do anything succefully in their future life if they just know how to do examination papers and get high marks in exams.And above all, I long for a quality-oriented education system to encourage more and more students put their knowledge and let them know that the society don't need bookworms.
