Good evening my honorable judges and my dear fellow students I am very delight to have a chance to give you a short speech the voice of dream
Today I would like to begin with my personal experience ,before getting enrolled in college I had been bombared with suggestions, take courses of different subjects, broaden your horizon, my high school teacher advised, try to do some parttime job so as to get in touch with the real society my friend said, work hard get as many a as poible making your transcript look as good, my parents offered, composed but hopeful I set out for my exciting life at college.but such advice all make perfect sense, I just could not figure out what should top my priority list, and the dream of my 18 years life is to be admitted to a good college, when I fulfilled it I suddenly feel lost my first semester at college was stimulating, I took part in the football team ,dancing course and working as a tutor as well.everydayI rushed from claroom to soccer court then fly to dancing studio enjoying the freshne as a fresh man ,little by little ,I was overtaxed and eventually fell victim to the wuliao sendrome ,literally I was overwoghted by the preure of work and life at college, whatis more , I feel bored with the things which I once loved I do not know what I really want , emotionly I was like a lost kid waiting for the voice of direction from my parents and teachers, just as I got used to in high school
Luckily I did not suffer too long from my wuliao feeling,I join in a dancing show at middle gate of our school ,when I saw the audience applauding for us, I suddenly feel energetic , an idea flash into my mind we young should know what we are dreaming of doing and where our interest lies.that is choice
So a wise choicehave surely helped us define our value, find out what we can do to best tap our potential ,what best suits our individual development , taking part in this competition for example has been one ,I have been dream of becoming a translator for a long time ,so I should make best use of this chance to challenge myself ,now I no longer feel perplexed because I now have my own guidanceThanks for your listening
